Where were we?

Wow, it's been awile hasn't it? Anyway where were we? Oh yes....

All right, I landed in Kenai the next day after landing in Anchorage. The family that I stayed with for a while, picked me up at the airport. The family, the Johnston's (I think that is right) are some of the nicest, most godly people I have ever met. Staying there was a pleasure. There I met the Jed, A Johnston, whom I fished with. We stayed up there a few days, then we went down to Homer and met Rick Mill (NOT MillS). After working on the boat a few days, Jed and I went back up to his house and made nets.

Ok here is the deal about nets. The nets are made out of this nylon stuff I think. It has two main lines on it. The lead line and the cork line. The lead line keeps it down in the water. and the cork line keeps it floating. The net is about 5-6 feet tall. but it is 150 feet long. We fished with 8 nets at a time. So we had 1200 feet of net in the water when we fished. each 150 foot section is called a shackle.

Oho, I am out of time, I will need to finish this some other time.

Cya!
