Where were we?
All right, I landed in Kenai the next day after landing in Anchorage. The family that I stayed with for a while, picked me up at the airport. The family, the Johnston's (I think that is right) are some of the nicest, most godly people I have ever met. Staying there was a pleasure. There I met the Jed, A Johnston, whom I fished with. We stayed up there a few days, then we went down to Homer and met Rick Mill (NOT MillS). After working on the boat a few days, Jed and I went back up to his house and made nets.
Ok here is the deal about nets. The nets are made out of this nylon stuff I think. It has two main lines on it. The lead line and the cork line. The lead line keeps it down in the water. and the cork line keeps it floating. The net is about 5-6 feet tall. but it is 150 feet long. We fished with 8 nets at a time. So we had 1200 feet of net in the water when we fished. each 150 foot section is called a shackle.
Oho, I am out of time, I will need to finish this some other time.
Cya!

Ok I lied.
Alright, I DID say that I would update in a “day or two”. I was sloppy and put it off to the point that I didn’t feel like doing it anymore. But now that I have a sliver of time (ok, more like a chunk on a Friday night), it is time for me to start finishing what I intended with this blog. Personally I feel that summer was a long time ago now (I know, it wouldn’t have been if I had updated like I was supposed to) and almost irrelevant to what is happening now. But I know that there are a good number of people out there who are interested in what I did this summer, so I will write and do what I promised.
My adventure started May 5th In the Year of Our Lord, 2007. That was the day that school got out and summer started. I was able to get a ride with a really nice girl and her friend-who-is-a-boy down to the Tampa-ish area of
After
June 6th Anno Domini 2007,
I flew off to Kenai (That is in the a little south and a little more west of
The white line is about 65 miles.
And there I was picked up with the family that I stayed with. They were (I am sure that they still are) some of the nicest people that I have ever met. I stayed there for a few days before I went down with one of the family members who would be fishing with me on the boat. His name is Jed.
And that would be the first part of my trip. I should get the next part up in a few days. But to all of the readers of this blog, thanks for everything! *thumbsup*

The Really, Really Long Epilogue. Sort of.
Hello. Yes I am aware that this update is overdue but be assured that you will be told of the great adventures of the Freshman (now Sophomore) Fisherman (OK, they really weren’t that great). Just for the record I am back at school at good ol’
I hope to have a real update in a few days, hopefully by later today, but I don’t know yet for sure, Rush here starts today. Rush for the record is when all of the societies (e.g. Zeta Alpha Pi, Epsilon Zeta Chi, Pi Kappa, Sigma Theta Chi etc.)(Kind of like fraternities at secular schools, only a little less debauched. Generally) try to get the freshmen to join their society. It is pretty wild to be honest. But anyway, I should get things up, if not tomorrow, within the next day or so.

*BzZZtTtt* *ScrzzzZizzz* *Shkt* "-nd now..."
"Thank you Mark, thank you. It really is beautiful weather out here, when I went out this morning I could see my breath faintly. The weather is cool and crisp. My travels went rather smoothly, thanks to Delta (The only way to fly). I landed in Salt Lake City about 30 minutes early. Took a few pictures.
Then ate lunch."
"Alright 'Miah wha-"
"Don't call me Maya."
"Oh. Well Jerry whi-"
"Don't call me that either."
"Ok. Reporter. What did you do next?"
"Well, I got back on the plane and flew to Anchorage (where I am now by the way). I got in at Midnight so I slept in the airport. Not the most friendly and welcoming places to sleep.
Sort of like sleeping in a cave with people coming and going around you."
"hm. Go on."
"After I got up the last time, I started looking for my gate but I couldn't find it. I was rather confuzaled. With an airport this small, I should be able to find most anything." I finally found out that the rest of the airport was in a different building so I headed off."
"I ate breakfast and found my gate. And that is about it."
"Thank you Reporter, that news cast was brought to by Delta, "the only way to fly.""
"Uh Mark?"
"Yes Reporter?"
"Delta doesn't say "The only way to fly", Western Airlines does."
---
"Mark?"
"Oh, go snort a doughnut."
"Huh?"
"Scram!"
"Oh, OK, Bye."

Thank You!
I am writing this from the Tampa Airport at 3:53 pm EST. Security was light and I got through easily. Online Check-In is possibly the best thing in flight since stewardesses were introduced. I will be landing in Salt Lake City sometime later, a lot later. Not really sure when though. It ain't on my itinerary. Oh well.

The very, very, very first post!
is what I will be doing this summer.
That is I will be fishing in Alaska. Almost, but not quite Deadliest Catch style, only for fish.
This is brief I know but I needed to put something up for people to gawk at.
For now,
Jeremiah
